Racing style of Anniina Ahtosalo

Her skill set includes sprinting and time trials, and she is also a reliable contender in the flatter races. This versatility has earned her numerous national titles, including consecutive Finnish championships in both the road race and time trial disciplines from 2022 to 2024.

An important difference between Anniina Ahtosalo’s riding style and that of the typical sprinter is her introverted nature. While sprinters are often seen as loud and dominant in the peloton, Ahtosalo is known for her calm and quiet presence. This sometimes causes opponents to “overlook” her.
